I love this! I might actually use this idea as well- for my little man's third birthday. I've used Family Fun in the past for his birthday cake. They have great ideas.
Love the cake, we did Ace's 2nd bday Construction and used the dump truck and brownie idea, another thing I did was made 'dirt' dessert and filled another dump truck (lined with foil) and set it at the other end of the table, it was great because they served as decoration and food! Be sure to post pics! If you're looking for any other ideas, I'd be glad to send you photos of stuff we did. If you're looking for cool favors/projects for the kids, I have a whole bunch of home depot craft kits. The kids LOVED them!
