Gifts from God - Springtime Firsts

An easy way to cultivate gratitude is to keep a list going in a journal or notebook, adding a handful of items each day. The more we are thankful, the more we are healthy and happy, according to this study by Berkeley scientists.

Also, gratitude helps me put my trust in God, because I am acknowledging the good things He is giving us.

As I look back over our photos from Holy Week until now, I see that we have several "Firsts" for which to be thankful.

First time making Holy Bread.

First time having one's feet washed.

First Kulich and Cheese Paska made in our new home.

First time digging at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

First time using a pipette at the local Medical School's Science Day for kids.

First hit at first baseball game.

From the 3rd chapter of the Apostle Paul's letter to the Colossians: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the LORD Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Thank you, Lord!
