Little Builder pretend eating a large playdough donut

a weekend at our old parish, and dear hospitable friends who hosted us in their lovely home

A special treat: my husband was around while I was making prosphora and asked if I'd like him to read an Akathist while I worked. Um, yes. I love when we work on something together!

Happy, Happy Birthday! Many Years~!
ReplyDeleteThose dresses are lovely! Enjoy!
Wow...you have an awesome husband! What a hard-working woman you are....I've never baked prosphora, but watched my mom do it almost every week of my life (my dad is a priest). The dresses look beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Marfa, I only do it once every two months or so (smile).
ReplyDeleteFYI: The dresses were on the buy one get one free rack at the Dress Barn. I had never been to one of these before, but I like it!
I've heard good things about the Dress Barn, I have to admit, the name turns me off, though.
ReplyDeleteMimi- the named tuned me off too - I almost didn't go in. Glad I did. What I liked is that there are a variety of dresses for 20-50 year-olds. Often I look for dresses and find two kinds: dresses that would only look good on my high school students or fancier dresses the elderly nice-dressed widows at church wear.
ReplyDeleteI found the in-between at the dress barn.
